TapMat is made in Australia for independent cafes, salons, barbers, bakeries and grocers: the shops that know their regulars by name.
Why TapMat exists
Big chains have loyalty apps, points schemes and marketing teams. The independent shop next door has a paper card that gets lost in a wallet.
TapMat gives local shops the same pull with none of the overhead: a sticker on the counter, a pass on the customer's phone, and a dashboard that shows who keeps coming back. And because one pass works at every TapMat shop, a strip of neighbours can grow each other's repeat visits instead of competing for wallet space.

What we hold to
- Simple at the counter
- One tap, one visit. If it slows down the queue, it does not belong in the product.
- No money, ever
- Rewards are free items handed over in person. TapMat never takes payments or holds card details.
- As little data as possible
- An anonymous pass by default, and only what a customer chooses to share, with the one shop they chose.
- The owner decides
- Rewards, limits and messages are the owner's choice, and any suggestion from software waits for their approval.
- Only what is built
- We describe what the product does today, and say plainly what is coming next.
